Super-intelligent, secretly-talking babies take on grown-up villains in the Baby Geniuses comedies. Here's how to watch this quirky family franchise in order.
Baby Geniuses imagines a world where infants possess secret knowledge and can communicate with one another before they learn to speak like adults. The 1999 film and its 2004 sequel, Superbabies, follow teams of toddlers thwarting scheming adults, blending slapstick with eye-popping special effects.
๐ Release Order
Release order keeps the baby-talk antics in sequence.
- Baby Geniuses (1999)
- Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004)
The two films are loosely connected comedies, so story chronology follows release order.
๐ Story Chronology
Story chronology matches release order, with Superbabies introducing a new crew of crime-fighting infants.
- Baby Geniuses (1999)
- Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004)
Which Order Should You Choose?
Start with the 1999 original to get the lay of the land, then continue to Superbabies if the premise charms you. Both films are lighthearted family fare, so release order is the simplest path. Perfect for a silly movie night with the kids.
